Some Inane Trivia

1. How tall were the Smurfs?

2. What planet was Alf from?

3. What was Alf's real name (hint: it's NOT "Alien Life Form")?

4. Who's catch phrase was: "It's a big big big big go-ril-il-il-il-il-il-a!"

5. How many notes did Andy get right while playing the bone-piano in The Goonies?

I'm severely bored. Anyone who can answer ALL of these questions WITHOUT looking them up on Google (or any other search engine, for that matter) will get a special Prize. For real.

Ok, Ok, the first three were obviously easy. The Smurfs were three apples high, Alf's from planet Melmac, and his real name is Gordon Shumway.

The fourth was a little harder. If you didn't have cable growing up, you missed out on USA Cartooooooooon Express (the greatest block of cartoon programming EVER). One of the cartoons that aired on USA was The Great Grape Ape... whose catch-phrase was "It's a big-big-big-big go-ril-il-il-il-il-il-a!!!!"

HOWEVER... I cannot fathom a child of the 80's who did NOT see The Goonies... It's a freakin' immortal classic. The *classic* of kid's classics. Any kid worth his weight in candy had The Goonies memorized by age 12. Not knowing who Andie is, or having never seen The Goonies is an unforgivable sin. And you guys call yourselves AMERICANS?!?! :) :) :)
